Gillian Saunders - Ballet

Gillian Saunders originally hails from Liverpool, England and began her training at age 10 when she was accepted into the Royal Ballet School in London.  Upon graduating at age 18 with honours, she went on to perform with several ballet companies including The Royal Ballet, Northern Ballet Theatre and The National Ballet of Canada.  Ms. Saunders debut in musical theatre was in the Toronto company of The Phantom of the Opera where she performed the principle role of Meg Giry.  She spent six years touring with Donny Osmond in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Having completed her M.A. in Dance at York University, she is the former Head of Dance Discipline in the Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance Program at Sheridan College, where she loved witnessing the future stars of Musical Theatre.  She is excited to continue to share her knowledge with the dancers at BDC.
